CPN-UML Vice Chairman Bishnu Poudel arrested in money laundering probe

Kathmandu – Bishnu Poudel, Vice Chairman of the CPN-UML, has been arrested.

The Department of Money Laundering Investigation detained him on Monday in Surkhet. He was apprehended while attending a party program in Surkhet and is being brought to Kathmandu, according to a source.

Poudel, who is also a former Finance Minister, was arrested as part of an investigation related to a money laundering case.
