Rastriya Swatantra Party holds first general convention in Bharatpur, Chitwan

Kathmandu – The ruling Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has inaugurated its first general convention.

At the guesthouse grounds in Bharatpur, Chitwan, party president Rabi Lamichhane and Prime Minister and senior party leader Balendra Shah inaugurated the event by ringing the party’s election symbol, the bell.

The convention was attended by leaders from various parties, including Nepali Congress President Gagan Kumar Thapa, former Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai, UML leader Pradeep Gyawali, and CPN leader Barshaman Pun, who extended their best wishes.

Additionally, Rastriya Prajatantra Party President Rajendra Lingden and Janata Samajwadi Party, Nepal President Upendra Yadav, among other leaders, participated. The convention, which began on Sunday, will continue for three days and will elect new leadership.
