France defeats Senegal 3-1 in FIFA World Cup match in New York

In Kathmandu, in a FIFA World Cup football match under Group ‘I’, France defeated Senegal with a 3-1 scoreline. The match, held at New Jersey Stadium in New York, America, ended the first half in a draw, but the second half saw a total of four goals from both sides.

In the 66th minute, Kylian Mbappe scored for France, giving the team the lead. Bradley Barcola doubled France’s lead with a goal in the 82nd minute. In extra time of the second half, Senegal’s Ibrahim Mbaye scored a consolation goal, bringing the score to 2-1. However, in the following minute, Mbappe scored his second personal goal, sealing the match at 3-1 for France.

In Group ‘I’, Norway and Iraq are set to face off today at 3:45 PM Nepali time. Additionally, in Group ‘J’, Argentina will play Algeria at 6:45 PM, and Austria will take on Jordan at 9:45 PM Nepali time.
