Iran and New Zealand draw 2-2 in World Cup Group G match

In a World Cup Group G match, the Asian team Iran played to a 2-2 draw against the European team New Zealand. New Zealand, unable to maintain their lead twice, shared the points with Iran, with both teams earning one point each. Towards the end of the match, both teams attempted to score but were unsuccessful, resulting in shared points. Previously in the group, Egypt and Belgium also played to a 1-1 draw.
