Traffic on the BP Highway has been halted from 12:30 PM today, considering potential risks. With the water level in the Roshi River rising significantly, all types of vehicles have been restricted from operating in the Roshi section to ensure the safety of passengers and vehicles, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Rabin Bista from the District Police Office, Kavrepalanchok.

He stated that vehicles traveling via the BP Highway have been stopped at Dhulikhel in the district and at Khurkot and Nepalthok in cooperation with the Sindhuli security committee.

Due to unseasonal rainfall, the BP Highway has been frequently obstructed, leading to the extension of an indefinite nighttime closure. The police have urged everyone to check the road conditions before traveling.
