Ravi Lamichhane, the president of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has called for an all-party meeting, but top leaders from the major parties, Nepali Congress and CPN-UML, will not be attending. The meeting is scheduled for 9 AM at the Public Accounts Committee hall in Singha Durbar to discuss current political issues.

The invitation was extended to the presidents or chairpersons of political parties represented in Parliament, along with two representatives each. However, both Congress and UML have decided to send second-tier representatives instead of their main leaders.

From the Nepali Congress, Bhishmaraj Angdembe, the leader of the parliamentary party, will attend. Similarly, CPN-UML will be represented by Chief Whip Ayan Mahar.

According to RSP General Secretary Kavindra Burlakoti, the all-party meeting has been convened to form a common understanding on the country’s latest political situation and contemporary issues.
