Kathmandu – Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) leader Gyanendra Shahi has expressed strong objections to the internal disputes and personal interests of top leaders, venting his intense frustration on social media.

According to his Facebook post, the ongoing tug-of-war and ‘battle of egos’ among the leaders have led to disappointment among the general youth and party workers.

Shahi has raised serious questions about the political leadership’s style, stating that the leaders’ DNA is not naturally aligned. He emphasized that this is a time to unite and move forward, rather than engaging in mutual blame games and divisions. He sharply criticized the tendency of leaders who, despite facing defeats across the country, are unwilling to relinquish their positions, while others seek to seize leadership without even contesting elections.

Shahi believes that this scramble for positions and arrogance is not only damaging the organization but also breaking the morale of the party workers and the trust of the youth.

Reminding that leadership is not about clinging to positions but having the ability to make sacrifices when needed, he remarked, “One issues a statement as a drama, while another hints at splitting by organizing gatherings.”

Shahi has challenged the top leaders to stop the theatrics and, if they have the courage, to sit together with him for open discussions and debates.

Expressing his dissatisfaction, he stated that not only people but even ‘God is fed up’ with such cunning and ‘manipulative’ politics of the leaders.
