Finance Minister Wagle to present budget in Nepali paper file Friday

Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle is set to present the budget at a joint session of the Federal Parliament at 4 PM on Friday.

After finalizing the budget at the Ministry of Finance, Dr. Wagle headed to the Cabinet meeting, unveiling the budget’s cover.

This year, breaking away from the traditional practice of carrying the budget in a black briefcase, Finance Minister Dr. Wagle carried the budget statement in a file made of Nepali paper.

Following approval from the Cabinet meeting, Finance Minister Dr. Wagle will present the budget at the joint session of the Federal Parliament on Friday.
