Currently, Nepal is experiencing the influence of western winds, local winds, and a low-pressure area near the eastern region of the country. This has resulted in rainfall on Saturday.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the skies in Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces will generally be cloudy this afternoon. The hilly and mountainous regions of Madhesh Province and other provinces will see partial cloud cover, while the rest of the Terai region will remain mostly clear.

There is a possibility of moderate rain or snowfall accompanied by thunder and lightning in some areas of the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces. Similar conditions are expected in one or two places in the Terai regions of Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, as well as in the hilly and mountainous areas of Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, according to the department.

The hilly regions of Sudurpaschim and Lumbini provinces may experience warm days, and there is a likelihood of a heatwave in the Terai regions. Additionally, there is a possibility of windstorms in a few areas of the Terai region in Madhesh and Koshi provinces, the department has reported.
