Nepal resolves tea export obstruction with India through diplomatic efforts

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that the obstruction to the export of Nepali tea to India has been resolved.

This information was shared during a regular press conference on Friday. Ministry spokesperson Lok Bahadur Paudyal Kshetri stated that the issue, which arose due to guidelines issued by the Indian Tea Board, has been addressed following diplomatic efforts.

He explained that after coordination between the Nepali Embassy in New Delhi and the ministry, the Indian side amended the guidelines, facilitating the smooth export of Nepali tea.
