Nepal Police transfers 149 DSPs in major reshuffle across districts

Kathmandu – A significant reshuffle has taken place within the Nepal Police, involving a large number of Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs). The Nepal Police Headquarters transferred 149 DSPs in one go on Friday.

The Human Resource Development Branch of the Headquarters issued a notice stating that DSPs working in various districts, circles, and directorates have been assigned new responsibilities.

As part of a regular process, officers who have been in the same position for a long time and have held command roles have been transferred to different locations based on necessity and performance.

With this reshuffle, commanders of various police circles in the Valley and major district police offices across the country have also been changed.

According to the Police Headquarters, all transferred officers have been instructed to immediately report to their new postings and complete the handover process.
