Moderate rain or snowfall expected in hilly regions of Nepal

Kathmandu – The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology’s Weather Forecast Division reports that the western winds, local winds, and a low-pressure area near the eastern part of Nepal in the lower atmosphere, along with a low-pressure line in the upper atmosphere of the central and eastern regions, are having a partial impact.

In Koshi Province and the hilly and mountainous regions of other provinces, it is generally expected to be cloudy, while the Terai region will experience partial cloudiness.

Similarly, there is a possibility of moderate rain or snowfall with thunder and lightning in some areas of the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, a few areas of other hilly and mountainous regions, and one or two places in the Terai region.

According to the division, tonight, the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, along with other parts of the country, will generally be cloudy, while the remaining areas will have partial cloudiness.

There is a possibility of moderate rain or snowfall with thunder and lightning in some areas of Koshi, Madhes, and Bagmati provinces, a few areas of other hilly and mountainous regions, and one or two places in the Terai region.
