Nepali Congress provincial gathering begins in Dhangadhi with key leaders present

The Nepali Congress is set to organize a provincial-level gathering in Dhangadhi starting today. This follows the special convention, with the Congress now focusing on province and local-level meetings.

The gathering will continue until Sunday. Congress President Gagan Kumar Thapa will inaugurate the event. He is expected to arrive in Dhangadhi shortly for the inauguration.

Vice President Bishwaprakash Sharma, General Secretary Guru Ghimire, and other leaders have already arrived in Dhangadhi as of Friday to address the gathering.

Congress Joint General Secretary Prakash Rasaili Snehil stated that the provincial-level training session will include a detailed review of the House of Representatives election held on 21 Falgun. Additionally, there will be discussions on the performance of elected representatives at the local level. Previously, during the House of Representatives election, efforts by President Thapa and other leaders to hold election rallies in the Far West were unsuccessful due to a lack of internal coordination.
