Nepali Congress expands policy academy with 39 new members

Kathmandu – The Nepali Congress has expanded the structure of its Central Policy, Research, and Training Academy by adding 39 new members.

Party Vice President and Academy Chief Bishwaprakash Sharma appointed these members to ensure representation from various regions and sectors.

According to Krishna Prasad Dulal, the acting chief secretary of the party’s central office, Vice President Sharma made these appointments using the authority granted by Article 36 (1) (c) of the party’s statute 2017 (with amendments).

To make the academy more effective and inclusive, experts and leaders from different fields have been given responsibilities.

The newly appointed members include Madhu Acharya from Kavrepalanchok, Dr. Gopal Dahit Tharu from Bardiya, Anju Jha from Rautahat, Umesh Shrestha from Lalitpur, and Prof. Dr. Govindaraj Pokharel from Pyuthan.

Additionally, film director Meen Bham from Mugu, Dr. Anjanikumar Jha from Mahottari, Dr. Yadav Pandit from the diaspora, Badri Sigdel from Bardiya, Gopal Prasad Pokharel from Sunsari, and poet Shrawan Mukarung from Bhojpur are among the 39 individuals who have been included in the academy.
