Government deploys bulldozers to clear Bansighat squatter settlement in Teku

The government has deployed bulldozers to clear the squatter settlement at Bansighat in Teku. As part of the campaign to remove unauthorized structures along the Bagmati River banks, the government began demolishing physical structures in the area from early Friday morning, with security personnel on site. In this second phase of the campaign, bulldozers have also been deployed in other areas, including Balkhu, today.
