Kathmandu – President Ramchandra Paudel has addressed a joint session of the Federal Parliament.

On Friday, President Paudel addressed the joint session for the first time following the House of Representatives elections held on March 4 (Phalgun 21).

During his address, President Paudel called upon all political parties and state mechanisms to unite in the journey of development and prosperity while embracing democratic values, norms, and ideals.

He suggested that the government work toward instilling hope, noting that the country’s progress is not possible with a discouraged workforce. He emphasized the need to move forward by learning from past mistakes to achieve the shared goal of prosperity.

The current session of Parliament is set to prorogue tonight at 12:00 AM.
