Massive Fire Breaks Out in Building at Itahari Chowk

Biratnagar — A massive fire has broken out in a building located north of Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City Chowk in Sunsari.

The fire erupted in a building housing Purwanchal Café and Ice Cream Parlour, situated north of the main junction in Itahari-6.

Teams from the Area Police Office Itahari, the Armed Police Force, municipal police, and local residents are actively working to bring the blaze under control.

As the municipality’s fire engines were damaged during the recent Gen Z protests, fire trucks from other local governments in Sunsari have been deployed to the scene and are continuing efforts to control the fire.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
