Oli Suffers Bereavement After Father’s Passing

Kathmandu — Former Prime Minister and Chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal -Unified Marxist Leninist , K. P. Sharma Oli, has suffered the loss of his father.

Oli’s father, Mohan Prasad Oli, passed away this morning at the age of 97 at a hospital in Gatthaghar.

According to hospital sources, Mohan Prasad Oli had been unwell for some time.

Preparations are being made to take his body to Oli’s residence in Gundu, Bhaktapur. It is also reported that the cremation will be carried out today at Pashupati Aryaghat.

The late Mohan Prasad Oli is survived by two sons and three daughters.
