According to Chief District Officer Ganesh Aryal, the worker — an office assistant assigned at the polling site — asked a voter what choice they had made after they cast their ballot, prompting his arrest by police.

The incident occurred at Madi Secondary School in Madi Municipality, where several candidates from major parties, including Renu Dahal (NCP) and Sobita Gautam (RSP), are contesting the election.
