Gold and Silver Prices Rise — What Are the Trading Rates?

Kathmandu — Gold and silver prices have risen in the local market today. Compared to Wednesday, the price of gold increased by Rs 600 per tola and silver by Rs 10 per tola, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association. Today, one tola of hallmark gold is being traded at Rs 315,400 and silver at Rs 5,725.

On Tuesday, gold was priced at Rs 314,800 per tola and silver at Rs 5,715 per tola.

Yesterday (Wednesday), one tola of hallmark gold was Rs 314,800 and silver was Rs 5,715.

Earlier in the week, on Monday, one tola of gold traded at Rs 313,500 and silver at Rs 5,595.

In the international market, one ounce of gold is trading at around USD 5,180 and the same amount of silver at about USD 89, according to international media sources.
