Kathmandu — The Maharajgunj outlet of Bhatbhateni Super market has resumed operations from today after suffering complete damage due to looting, vandalism, and arson during the Gen Z protests held on Bhadra 23 and 24.

The supermarket building, which sustained severe damage during the unrest, underwent nearly six months of repair and reconstruction. After completing the necessary structural improvements and internal arrangements, it has now reopened to the public.

On the occasion of the reopening, a special prayer ceremony was organized in the presence of Bhatbhateni Chairman Min Bahadur Gurung and other officials.

With the branch back in operation after remaining closed for a long period following the incident, local customers will now be able to access regular services once again.
