Bus Falls Into River in Nepal’s Ramechhap, Killing Five

Kathmandu — A passenger bus traveling from Kathmandu to Okhaldhunga plunged into the Tamakoshi River in the Seleghat area of Ramechhap district on Tuesday.

At least five people died at the scene after the bus, bearing registration number Ba 9975, met with the accident.

According to police involved in the rescue operation, six injured passengers were pulled from the wreckage and sent to a hospital for treatment.

Authorities said further investigation is underway to determine the cause of the crash.
