At Nepali Congress Special Convention, Paudel and Ghimire Are Elected General Secretaries

Kathmandu — At its ongoing special general convention, the Nepali Congress has selected Pradeep Paudel and Gururaj Ghimire as its general secretaries. Party leader Ajaybabu Shivakoti said Paudel and Ghimire were chosen for the post of general secretary. “They have both been elected as general secretaries,” Shivakoti said. Other office-bearer positions are yet to be finalized. They were the only candidates to register for the general secretary posts Wednesday morning. Gagan Kumar Thapa has filed a sole nomination for the party chairmanship.
