Deuba and Thapa file candidacies for the NC’s PP leader election

The party president and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and general secretary Gagan K Thapa filed candidacy for the election of the Nepali Congress parliamentary party (PP) leader.

Senior leader of the Nepali Congress (NC), Ram Chandra Poudel proposed Deuba with the support of vice-president of the party, Purna Bahadur Khadka.

Similarly, Shekher Koirala proposed Thapa whom general secretary Bishwa Praksh Sharma, vice-president Dhana Raj Gurung and leader Pradeep Poudel have supported.

The election will take place on Wednesday at the party’s parliamentary office.
