The government’s decision to declare public holidays on Sunday and Monday

Kathmandu – In light of the heavy rainfall affecting the entire country and many employees and stakeholders being stuck at home while celebrating Dashain, the government has decided to grant a two-day public holiday on Sunday and Monday.

The decision was confirmed by Anand Kafle, who is both the spokesperson for the Ministry of Home Affairs and an Under Secretary. The ministry stated that the continued downpour has severely disrupted daily life, causing significant transportation challenges. The two-day holiday aims to help manage this situation effectively.
