Monarchists Announce New Protest beginning on Jestha15th

Demanding the establishment of a monarchy and a religious nation, another protest has been announced starting from May 29th (Jestha 15th). Supporters of the restoration of the monarchy jointly announced the new programs of the protest on Thursday.

Concluding that the country is already heading towards failure due to the constitution of 2015 (2072 BS) and the party system, the Public Mobilization Committee led by Nawaraj Subedi has announced the protest programs.

Representatives from various organizations in favor of the restoration of the monarchy, including RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden and RPP Nepal Chairman Kamal Thapa, were present at the program announcing the protest.

Previously, on March 28th (Chaitra 15th), there was an incident in Tinkune during a protest led by Durga Prasai. Although the protests appeared to have subsided after the incident, new protest programs have been made public again.
