Madan Rai guilty of minor sexual abuse; sentencing on Magh 25

Kathmandu – Madan Rai, who is facing charges of sexual abuse of girls and young women studying at his own school, has been found guilty by the District Court of Khotang.

On Magh 10, the court declared Rai guilty, and another hearing has been scheduled for Magh 25 to determine the sentence, as informed by the court’s information officer, Sudip Kumar Bhattrai.

After news was published on an online news platform about him sexually abusing the girls and young women studying at the Shubhadra Madan Foundation, which he had personally established, he was arrested by the police and a case was filed against him at the District Court of Khotang.
