Chitwan Incident Update: Police Officer Who Beat Up Young Man Suspended

A police officer who beat up a young man in Chitwan has been suspended. The incident took place on the bypass road section of Bharatpur Metropolitan City, Chitwan, where the officer was seen kicking the young man.

The video, which shows the officer kicking the young man and continuing to assault him even after he falls, went viral on social media.

Immediately after the video went viral, the Chitwan Police formed a three-member investigation committee under the leadership of DSP Gyan Kumar Mahato.

Following the investigation by the committee, the police officer involved in the assault was suspended, and further action is being taken.

In the viral video, the police officer can be heard saying “are you showing power” and “making a call.”

The police stated that the incident occurred during a vehicle inspection on the bypass road section of Bharatpur Metropolitan City.
