Kathmandu – The official closing of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) has been completed.
After a high-scoring final, Janakpur Royals won the title of the inaugural edition of the tournament.
Here’s the list of awardees from the competition:
- Champion: Janakpur Royals (1 crore 10 lakh rupees)
- Runner-up: Sudurpashchim Royals (51 lakh rupees)
- Third place: Karnali Yaks (25 lakh rupees)
- Fourth place: Chitwan Rhinos (15 lakh rupees)
- Fair Play Award: Lumbini Lions
- Most Fours in the Tournament (35): Lahiru Milintha (2 lakh rupees)
- Energetic Player of the Tournament: Jimmy Neesham (2 lakh rupees)
- Emerging Player: Bipin Prasad Sharma (50,000 rupees in cash, 10 lakh rupees worth scholarship)
- Best Bowler: Lalit Rajwanshi (Ultraviolet F77 motorcycle)
- Best Nepali Player: Dipendra Singh Airee (Amoda E-5 DLX electronic car)
- Siddhartha Bank Player of the Tournament: Saif Zeib from Sudurpashchim (5 lakh rupees)
