Dang – Former King Gyanendra Shah has performed a prayer ritual at the Thousand Buddha Temple in Lumbini, Rupandehi.
A prayer ceremony was held on the occasion of the temple’s inauguration. On Friday morning, he arrived at the Gautam Buddha International Airport in Bhairahawa on a chartered flight, where his supporters, well-wishers, leaders, and activists of the National Democratic Party (RAPRAPA) welcomed him.
Former King Gyanendra is scheduled to return to Kathmandu at 4 PM on Friday, according to a statement from his secretary, Phanindra Pathak.
