Former King, Queen to Offer Tika to Public on Dashain

Kathmandu – Former King Gyanendra Shah and former Queen Komal Shah will be offering tika (a traditional Nepali tika applied during festivals) to the general public this Dashain as well.

The former royal couple will be providing tika at 4 PM on Vijaya Dashami, according to Shah’s secretariat.

According to the secretariat, the tika ceremony will take place at Nirmal Niwas.

‘His Majesty King Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev and Her Majesty Queen Komal Rajyalaxmi Devi Shah will be offering tika to well-wishers and the general public at 4 PM on Vijaya Dashami at Nirmal Niwas,’ said the former King Shah’s secretariat
