NEPSE Sees Continued Drop: Index Ends at 2,646.03 Points on Monday

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has also declined on Monday. Dropping by 55.86 points, the NEPSE index closed at 2,646.03 points on Monday.

On Sunday, transactions amounted to NPR 10.12 billion, but on Monday, the transaction amount decreased to NPR 9.43 billion. A total of 2,10,48,911 shares of 327 securities were traded.

While the value of 22 companies increased, 222 companies saw a decrease.

The highest transaction was for CEDB Hydro Power. Shares worth NPR 37 crore were traded at a price of NPR 2,085 per share. The second highest in terms of share trading was Himalayan Reinsurance. The company’s shares were traded at NPR 802.20 per share, amounting to NPR 27.94 crore. Among the 13 sectoral indices in the market, all sectors saw a decline.
