11 SPs of Nepal Police recommended for promotion to SSP

Kathmandu – Eleven Superintendents of Police (SP) from Nepal Police have been recommended for promotion to the rank of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP).

In a meeting held today, the promotion committee secretariat under the Ministry of Home Affairs recommended elevating these 11 SPs to SSP positions within the civil police sector.

The officers recommended for promotion include Tulbahadur Karki, Rakesh Singh, Kamal Thapa, Dayanidhi Gyawali, Deepak Pokharel, Praveen Dhital, Rajeev Basnet, Dipendra Shahi, Prakash Ranabhat, Kedar Khanal, and Gyanendra Prasad Phuyal.

Promotion has been recommended for them under sub-rule (4) of rule (27) of the Police Regulations, 2071, as informed by Danbahadur Karki, the member-secretary of the promotion committee and an Additional Inspector General of Police.
